Argument over alcohol results in loss of life

Serowe Police are concerned by escalating number of murder cases in their policing area. In an interview with BOPA, Assistant Superintendent, Eric Dambe of Serowe police said they have arrested a 23-year-old man of Majwanaadipitse settlement after he stabbed another man who’s age was not identified with a sharp instrument at the village bar on April 5.
The culprit who is still in police custody will appear before the Serowe Magistrate’s Court on a single count of murder today.
The accused is alleged to have stabbed the victim with a sharp object suspected to be a knife on chest after a heated argument over alcohol.
He left him lying motionless in a pool of blood and escaped the scene. ENDS
