Fashion industry players will unleash their potential at the third edition of Kelly’s Angels Modeling Agency (KAMA) Fashion show billed for Term Manoir Guest Lodge in Gaborone on Saturday. 

The Fashion Show themed:  Urban Jungle-Street wear meets high fashion will bring all the industry players  under one roof, including models, designers, make-up artists, hairstylists, photographers and performing arts.

Organised and directed by 24-year-old, Keletso Seebela who is also a model, the event is open for everyone from above-mentioned categories to come and tell their story through their talents. Speaking in an interview recently, Seebela said KAMA fashion show was a good opportunity for job creation as well as business especially for the youth.

“It exposes artists to potential clients and employers, models get booked by different brands, photographers get bookings from individuals and other brands as well. There are those who always sell food and beverages for income,” she explained.

While some artists got booked for gigs, designers made sales from their readily made clothing brands. Seebela who is self-sponsoring the event was optimistic about the attracting sponsors to help grow the event. She noted that since the establishment of the fashion show, response from those who attended had been amazing, as she got positive feedback.

“They loved it as they learned a lot, got business, collaborated with others and found different opportunities,” she stated.

As for the growth, she pointed that with the years, the show had been pulling a good number, adding that this year they were expecting a large audience and by far the double tickets were sold out. Seebela further expressed the intention to host the show around the country after realising the talent out there. She believes Batswana are creative and just need exposure to display such creativity, hence the need to extend the event to other parts of the country.
