Fanatics and lovers of Mother of All Vintage Lifestyle thronged Molapo Leisure Gardens for the third edition of this unique event in Francistown on Saturday. 

The Mother of all Vintage Lifestyle was hosted at the Thapama Lodge before, but the venue changed to Molapo Leisure Gardens this time around. Nonetheless, revellers came beautiful as always, showcasing the olden day’s fashion, with most of the women having accessorised their outfits with stockings, socks, beret hats and lace hand gloves. 

As for the gentlemen, stapora caps and suspenders paired with pointed shoes were the order of the day. Indeed memories of the 1970s were brought back for the new generation to appreciate how their elders used to rock up back then. 

On the other hand, the DJs made sure they served nothing but the olden music to give revelers quality of the vintage event. 

A beautiful lady in her late 50’s, dressed well in a floral dress paired with figure belt, wearing brown pantyhose with high-heeled shoes, shared her experience about this event.  She said it was her third time attending the Mother of All Vintage Lifestyle, praising the event for bringing back the olden memories when life was still affordable. 

“Being here reminds me of those days when life was not this expensive, times when we were using brown polish as our makeup,” she explained excitedly. 

Ms Kedia Moseki expressed her gratitude towards the Mother of All Vintage Lifestyle event for refreshing and soothing her soul. She said the event reminded her back then when she used to go out with her sisters, dancing beautifully and having a nice time. 

The Mother of All Vintage Lifestyle event aims to turn a charm of yesterday into a beacon of hope for those in need to make old lifestyle a useful piece of information with the intention to be known by the current generation. ENDS
