Currently, the rising artiste had released two singles titled Mokoba and Bahati hits as his first production, carrying a message that soothes the soul. The songs are a must listen to as they are fused with humour and appealing accent.
The new kid on the block had also produced some comedy videos which now boasts of a substantial following on Tik-Tok. As a newbie in the industry, he is striving for recognition, and to be active in different platforms.
He revealed in an interview, that he developed interest in creative art during his days at Maun Senior Secondary School by following one of the renowned local comedian, Coster Tshoganyetso who post his content on social mesedia as well as the Kwaito-kwasa artiste, Onalekitso Sefofu alias Velast saying they really inspired him.
He cited that Coster produced entertaining and informative videos noting that he had the good fortune of connecting with Velast who promised to groom and support him to achieve his dream.
He attributed the duo’s  influence for his behavioural change through their artistic works, citing that he used to be troublesome and disrespected his parents, but later realised that engaging in risky and rowdy behaviour was not worth it.  He then decided to exploit his hidden talent and nurture it to earn a living and ===- the same time repent, listen and respect his parents as well as focus on his studies and managed to attain 39 points in Form 5.
“The duo inspired me to embrace change and try my luck in the industry and since I followed them, I never looked back as I started recording some comedy videos and writing my songs during my spare time in 2023. I produced some interesting content which I posted in social media particularly  Tik-Tok and the response was overwhelming,” he added.
The positive response, he said motivated him to produce more content noting that plans were underway to produce an album comprising of five Kwasa kwasa songs.
The versatile youngster said his intention was to take part in the upcoming National Arts Festival at regional level.
On how he balanced studies and social engagements, Molathiwa pointed out that it was challenging especially for an industry novice, but stressed that effective time management was the cornerstone of  striking a balance.
He is of the view that by efficiently managing time, one could ensure that they had dedicated moments for both academic and social interactions. However, he encouraged fellow youth to utilise their talents and create employment for themselves and others instead of looking up to government for assistance.
Molathiwa said identifying what they loved and are good at was critical in unearthing one’s potential passion citing that many have neglected their God given talents which they could nurture, develop and eventually turn into careers while increaseing employment opportunities.
He also advised the youth to respect their parents as they sacrificed a lot for their well-being.
“Honouring our parents is far more important and powerful than most of us realise. Respecting them is a catalyst for personal growth and I encourage my fellow peer to allow our parents to guide us in the right direction,” he added. ENDS
