Charma Gal gives back to community

Renowned songstress Magdelene Lesolebe, alias Charma Gal, has donated P10 000 to Letlotla Ramotlopi, who is living with disability. in Magokotswane Ward in Molepolole in a selfless act of kindness.
The donation was made possible by the overwhelming success of the Kgosi ya Mosadi Festival, headlined by her.
Speaking at the handover ceremony on Tuesday, Charma Gal Productions manager, Pako Abidile shared that the donation was a token of appreciation to the community for their firm support of the Charma Gal brand.
“We are thrilled to have been able to host such a successful event in Molepolole. The Kgosi ya Mosadi Festival was truly a demonstration of the steadfast loyalty and enthusiasm of our supporters here,” he said.
Abidile further stated that Charma Gal was deeply committed to giving back to Bakwena because they had helped shape her career and this donation was just one example of her dedication.
“We are honoured to have the opportunity to make a positive impact in someone’s life,” Abidile added.
While this donation marked a public display of Charma Gal’s philanthropic efforts, Abidile also revealed that Charma Gal has made numerous private donations in the past, stating that she has always been passionate about helping those in need.
Receiving the donation on behalf of Kweneng District Council, the council chairperson, Councillor Ontefetse Rankhibidu expressed gratitude for Charma Gal’s generosity and noted the positive impact this contribution would have on the community.
He also said the donation would make a real difference in the life of the recipient.
For his part, Kgosi Moffat Bakwena reiterated the council chairperson’s remarks, stating that on behalf of his community, they want to use this occasion to remind everyone of the power of giving back.
“Whether it is donating funds, time, or resources, every act of kindness makes a difference,” said Kgosi Bakwena.
Meanwhile, Charma Gal shared that she was overwhelmed by the love and support she received from her fan base in Molepolole.
She stated that they have been with her every step of the way, from her humble beginnings to her success as a renowned artiste.
“It’s only fitting that I give back to those who have given so much. This is my way of saying thank you,” she said.
Charma Gal also used the occasion to announce that the highly anticipated Kgosi ya Mosadi Festival will return to Molepolole in August this year. ENDS
