Miss World Botswana and the Ministry of Local Government and Traditional Affairs, have made it happen for Vincent Gobuamang to ascent the international beauty pageant stage.

Through Gobuamang, Botswana will be making his first ever appearance at the 11th edition of Mr World festival, scheduled for Vietnam on November 23

From a small settlement in the outskirts of Ghanzi, Qabo, Gobuamang will share the stage of the intriguing competition with about 60 contestants from different countries across the world.

The 22-year-old Gobuamang's journey to Mr World began with his victory at the Mr RADP Fashion Show in 2022, which qualified him to Mr World Botswana.  Gobuamang stated on a recent press release that he is honoured to represent the country at an international stage, adding that he is excited for the opportunity and he hopes young people back home see him as an example to follow.  Already, Mr World Botswana won gold for Botswana at the ongoing Mr World pageant activities in Vietnam during a 5km run in Vietnam.

He expressed happiness at winning gold and thanked all his supporters. Mr World competition is an international male beauty pageant, which was founded by Miss World organisation in 1996.  Batswana are encouraged to vote for Gobuamang to land him in the top 20 and eventually top 10 on the link; mrworld.1voting.com.  ENDS
