Dr Keutlwile grateful for Miss Universe journey

Miss Universe Botswana, Dr Thanolo Keutlwile has expressed gratitude towards the just ended Miss Universe pageant which was held in Mexico over the weekend.

Despite not snatching the crown, Dr Keutlwile said the 56 days since her Miss Universe Botswana coronation had been incredible, and she was honoured to have represented the country on the international stage.

“This journey has been amazing, intense, demanding and sometimes overwhelming. But through it all I’m in awe of God’s unwavering love, he orchestrates seasons according to his perfect timing, and his plans are always greater than our own”, she said on her Facebook page.

Dr Keutlwile also extended her gratitude to the Miss Universe and Miss Universe Botswana, as well as her designers and the community at large for the support.

Still on her Facebook post, Dr Keutlwile said she was deeply thankful for the chance to inspire young children and connect with women from all walks of life during the Miss Universe journey.

She congratulated the crowned queen and her runners up. 

The 73rd Miss Universe 2024 crown went to Victoria Kjaer from Denmark, first runner up Chidimma Adetshina from Nigeria, the second runner up Maria Fernanda Beltran from Mexico, third runner up Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand, and fourth runner up Lieana Marquez from Venezuela. ENDS
