Afro tech DJ sensation, Tau.BW, is set to debut the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) on Saturday. 

Based in South Africa, Tau.BW, whose birth names are Hamza Tajbhai, is closer to realising his dream of being on the global stage sharing his afro tech talent. ADE, organised by The Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation, is a five-day electronic music conference and festival held annually in mid-October in Amsterdam. 

“It is my debut showcase in Europe and at the iconic ADE. My dream has come to life and I cannot wait to showcase a performance with the music I have been creating and releasing over the years,” Tau.BW posted in his Instagram handle. 

He also said in an interview ahead of his debut performance that he hopes to use this opportunity to get signed by international booking agencies, which would allow him an opportunity to tour the world and play on great festival line-ups such as Tomorrow Land and Coachella. 

Tau.BW will be amongst some of the best afro tech performers such as Thakzin, Thandi Draai and KaryEndaSoul from South Africa.  From UK there will be Nicky Summers and Hagan. 

The event will also have speakers deliberating on the genre. ENDs
