GIMC 10th anniversary off to a good start

02 Sep 2024

Gaborone International Music and Culture (GIMC)  Week is off to a good start with GIMC jazz giving more of the first of the activities to patrons on Saturday at Bojanala Waterfront.

The jazz event, like previous years continues to surpass itself in terms of the set up and quality of the event as well as the music it offers.

It lived to its slogan of #pitsoyabotlhokwa, as patrons came in numbers despite the cold weather in the afternoon.

The event gave patrons choices of entertainment without compromising range and diversity; whether one enjoyed artists’ performances, Dj’s set or the host’s raving energy on stage, creating positive energy and keeping them engaged.

Performances from Nnunu Ramogotsi, Ringo Madlingozi, Mafikizolo, Encore, Zonke, DJ Lefatshe as well as Loungo Pitse as MC were well played and to the satisfaction of the audience.

GIMC jazz was not just about the music; the patrons enjoyed jazz on the lawn with good ambience.

The vibrant energy and passion exuded by the audience made GIMC jazz a memorable and captivating event.

For the audience, taking videos of their favourite stars always is joy and this allows them to become an integral part of the show.

The videos are cherished moments, reminding them of incredible moments they shared with other patrons.

As for the VIP audience, they were also treated to an exclusive food and unlimited beverage service.

The audience experienced a wide selection of beverages with food, and with accessible service without having to wait or queue up as there were waiters available.

While most VIP sections are far off from the stage, GIMC jazz VIP was closer and gave its audience a good view of the performances.

GIMC 10th anniversary activities continue this week with comedy, clap and tap music concert, poetry as well as music festival. Ends
