Grand Palm Hotel and Casino Resort wrapped up August with a brunch in honour of women.

The month is significant to women in South Africa as they celebrate and recognise women, and ideally some South African generic corporates in Botswana honour women during this month as well. 

“For the past five years, we celebrate women’s month and we allocate a day to celebrate the women that add value to our lives,” said Grand Palm Hotel and Casino Resort general manager, Keletso Bogatsu.

She said they also celebrated the women’s loyalty and support in making Grand Palm hotel and their other entities, success stories.

The brunch also created a platform for women to connect with each other on a personal level and also gave them a platform where they could share ideas and insights as well as empower each other.

Bogatsu also said the brunch was about gathering feedback from them as their clients as they looked to explore ways in which they could improve their services and offerings.

“Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. It is your insights and experiences that help us refine our operations and ensure that we continue to meet and exceed your expectations,” Bogatsu said.

Hospitality and Tourism Association of Botswana Chief Executive Officer, Lily Rakorong, also appreciated women and encouraged them to interact with each other and share ideas as they celebrated each other.

She said they should make use of platforms such as these, as they were not many.

She said such platforms were great initiatives for women to thrive in their various fields as they network and collaborate. Ends
