The coordinator of Kanye Kiddies’ Festival, Michael Sekaba has challenged parents and their children to mark their calendars for the most epic children centric event ever.

Sekaba, also known as Uncle Dipopae, told BOPA in an interview on Thursday that this year’s second edition of Kanye Kiddies Festival would be held at Warmhands Garden in Kanye on August 31. 

Sekaba explained that the main objective of the festival was to make family socialisation different, to ensure that parents and kids had fun away from television and electronic gadgets.

He said the festival would create a curiosity, ignite passion, breakdown a barrier and fear, all by giving children the chance to see and do things with others.

Our mission, he said, was to host annual children’s festival that promoted fun and learning, bonding between parents and children together with celebrating cultural differences through different activities.

He highlighted that the event would be filled with different activities such as horse riding, mhele, water slides, egg racing, tug of war, dance competitions, quad bikes, koi, dibeke and many other traditional festival.

He further assured parents that there would be a tight security at the event to ensure the safety of their children. Ends
