Cresta Wine Experience August 31

The fourth edition of the Cresta Jwaneng Wine Experience, scheduled for August 31, promises to be an exclusive VIP experience for wine lovers.
The P800 package includes goodies such a wine bottle, some platters and various palate-tantalising experiences throughout the day.
In an interview with BOPA, Cresta Area Sales Manager-South, Letlhogonolo Motswaledi, said their evaluation of last year’s event found that most revellers preferred the VIP category in general.
“The majority of people bought VIP tickets last year hence we are acting on that demand. We also want the event to be exclusive so that they can fully enjoy through the VIP experience, hence we are only targeting 300 people,” she said.
Attendees will have ample opportunity to learn about various wine cultures, which include taste, handling and serving quantities, among others.
However, Motswaledi said this year there were limited wine stalls to give revellers time to taste all the wines on offer.
She said the theme: Safari in the Desert, which resonated with Jwaneng’s location in the desert, challenged attendees to come clad in safari outfits to match the mood and the atmosphere of a relaxed experience.
“We chose this theme since Jwaneng is located in the Kalahari desert, and we are looking forward to seeing those outfits associated with campsite lifestyles, cowboy hats and many others related to the theme,” she said.
Botswana’s superstar, Han-C, is scheduled to mesmerise the audience alongside Jazz sensation, Nnunu Ramogotsi and Jwaneng local artist Empress Eunice, while DJs Boogie Sid, Kels and Kedi Lezozo will be on the decks.
“Since this is a VIP experience, we chose music for a mature crowd to enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere conducive for unwinding,” noted Motswaledi.
Additionally, she noted they intend to utilise the opportunity to market their newly opened four-star Cresta Grande hotel. Ends
