The reigning Miss Teen Botswana, Onkatlile Koolatotse has left for New Delhi, India today to compete at the prestigious Miss Teen International 2024 scheduled for June 29 to July 7.

In an interview, Miss Teen Botswana founder, Nicole Gaelebale, said Koolatotse was a beacon of grace, intelligence and beauty and therefore confident that the young teen would showcase Botswana’s essence and vibrancy at international stage.

“I am excited that she will be among the young teens from around the world competing for the coveted title,” she said

For the young Koolatotse, the unwavering support and encouragement from fellow Batswana is what would motivate her to travel to India and do her best to make the country proud.
“I aim to carry the hopes and dreams of my nation with dignity and pride as I compete for the Miss Teen International 2024 title,” she said.
Koolatotse, 17, is founder of Smile the Little Flower Foundation, an organisation which was birthed from a visit to Betesankwe village back in 2020, which according to her 'advocates for children who cannot speak up about the issues confronting them as well as the voice to the whispers of those who have been silenced or go unnoticed.”
The foundation, she said focused on three main goals of inclusion, opportunity and mental health while it also continued to help teens to realise and advance their dreams. BOPA
