A new entertainment establishment nestled within the hustle and bustle of Phakalane has opened.

Tounel, pronounced ‘tunnel’ is a new showbiz spot which promises a reimagined nightlife experience in Gaborone.

 With free entrance, the lounge however provides a strict bottle or table service policy.

Used interchangeably in the bar and nightclub industry, bottle or table service essentially means patrons pay for the bottle service or table to get in the club. 

The hot plot of club service is not new in the entertainment space, it is practiced around the world in pristine up market clubs, and targets well-defined elite, super clientele.

“We are a high end night club that caters for your businessmen, executives, sportsmen, celebrities.We are a nightclub that is here to transform the nightlife of Gaborone,” said Brando Keabilwe adding that they opened the establishment after realising that there was lack of upmarket upper class entertainment in the city.

Tounel Lounge will give attendees exclusive service of not only having a good time in a posh, restricted and spacious spot, but the buyers get an abundant selection of spirits, mixers, soft drinks, bottled water and food according to the price package of the service. 

And, the attendees also get a dedicated waiter/waitress known as ‘bottle person’, to engage with them.

Inside the Tounel, there is also the whiskey and cigar lounge in addition to the club space. 

“And this is the area where you can relax away from the buzz of the music in the club area,” Keabilwe said. 

The lounge also provides restaurant with a delicious cuisine on the menu.

One of the attendees Patience Koi said during the launch that the establishment was a welcome development. 

“Our entertainment space needs variety where there is exclusivity. This will definitely give elite clientele a space to relax and close deals in a posh space,” Koi said. 

Tounel is a Sankhaya owned entity, which also has Corner Couch lounge under their wing. Ends
