South African artiste, Mbali Zuke, is eager to collaborate with Botswana artistes.

During a meet and greet session with the media on Wednesday at Molapo Showcase, Zuke, who recently released a new Extended Play (EP) courtesy of Gilbert Promotions and Miriri Productions, shared her excitement about an upcoming project with a local DJ.

“Details will be revealed soon, and it’s always a pleasure to be in Botswana. I believe teamwork is essential, regardless of where one comes from,” she mentioned,

The singer, who has already collaborated with Charma Gal, also plans to visit Molepolole to check on the only survivor of an accident that occurred in Limpopo during the Easter holidays. 

Zuke emphasised that the visit was part of her commitment to social responsibility and giving back to the community.

Zuke expressed her appreciation for the love and support she had  received from Batswana, noting that it had been a significant factor in her frequent performances in Botswana. She also announced an upcoming tour in Botswana with Makhadzi later this year.

Reflecting on her music career, Zuke shared that she started as a backing singer and was now determined to become a major figure in the industry. 

She is working tirelessly to establish her own music production company.

“My songs are trending in Africa, and this is just the beginning of greater things,” she said.

Zuke is well known for her hit songs such as Ngiyi Deluka, Nguwe, Igama Lami, and Imnandi Lento (featuring Charma Gal).

Gilbert Seagile of Gilbert Productions said the main aim of the session was to introduce Zuke to Botswana’s music market.

He said already Batswana were receiving her music with love.

He promised Batswana great performances by Zuke. Ends
