Bambi-Elle Creations in collaboration with Avani Gaborone Resort and Casino will on June 23 host a Winter Soiree to usher in the cold season.

Winter Soiree is an elegant gathering where people dress up for the occasion, often mistaken for a party or perhaps a hangout of like-minded people. 

However, a soiree treats guests to fancy food and/or classical sounds, with guests engaging in a variety of private conversations with more intellectual talk than just casual chats.

The Winter Soiree is expected to embrace winter beauty and fashion. 

“This event will bring together beauty enthusiasts, professional make-up artists and fashion experts under a relaxed ambience as we usher in winter,” said Bambi Motsomatshukudu in an interview.

Motsomatshukhudu, the brains behind this initiative and also an events manager of note said the idea came after the realisation that people have winter collections but do not have the know-how to blend them together. 

“Therefore, the soiree will serve as a platform for beauty, make-up and fashion engagement,” she said adding that sometimes the ‘do whatever feels right for you’ mentality could be overwhelming and with the right people to assist, beauty could be embraced and appreciated even in winter.

To enhance the event, guests will be treated to a make-up tutorial at the event by Havillah Beauty Botswana who are also partners in this event. 

Also, the event will have fashion and beauty stalls from various local fashion and beauty entrepreneurs. 

Tickets for the Winter Soiree are on sale at Avani Resort for P650 inclusive of meals and a beauty hamper.
