Basadi Bomme music connect, a musical project aiming to entertain, empower and celebrate women in the creative space is scheduled for Saturday April 20 at Millennium Jazz restaurant.

Featuring renowned and celebrated women artists in Punah Gabasiane, Kearoma Rantao, Nono Siile as well as Charma Gal, the show provides an opportunity to celebrate women in the creative space. 

"The show also serves as a powerful motivation for women artists to continue supporting each other in this industry," said organiser of the event Bambi Motsomatshukudu. She said the show also serves as a teaching tool, to the upcoming creatives particularly women and girls.

The Basadi Bomme music connect is expected to be held annually, to further empower other women creatives and allow them an opportunity to showcase their craft. 

"We will feature more women artists in future as we believe that women continue to make strides in this industry and as they make their mark they deserve the necessary support to continue being the best," said female promoter Zenzele Hirschfeld. ENDS
