South African gospel artiste, Teboho Moloi’s highly anticipated second concert in Botswana is scheduled for April 6 at the Lekidi Football Centre. Dubbed the “Botswana Invasion Concert,” the event is a collaboration between Pronounced Partners and TA Music Productions. 

One of the organisers, Gosego Lekoko, revealed in an interview that they are hosting their 2nd Annual Teboho Moloi Botswana Invasion Concert, emphasising it as a day event for families to enjoy. 

“This year’s show promises an even more dynamic experience, with Moloi gracing the stage alongside artists he has collaborated with, including Dumi Mkokstad and Sello Malete,” she said. 

Regarding preparations, she said, they have been intense, but with sponsors like Duma FM and Ford Botswana supporting them, they were confident in delivering the best event yet. 

“The line-up is diverse and exciting, featuring returning acts like Sello Malete and new additions like Minister Spoke from Lesotho, signed by Joyous Celebrations, who will perform Anglican Hymns. 

Local talent is also showcased with artists like Sesame, ZOE, Taung Brass Band, and Tlotlo The Only Son taking the stage,” she said. 

According to her, the anticipation for the event was palpable, with attendees eagerly awaiting Moloi’s performance, as evidenced by the overwhelming excitement generated since the last show. 

“This year’s theme is “All White,” with the slogan “Ho tlo dubehaaaaa” reflecting the festive spirit of the occasion,” she added. Lekoko reiterated that the Botswana Invasion Concert was an annual affair, ensuring that Teboho Moloi will be a fixture in Botswana’s music scene for years to come. 

She also said fan input was playing a significant role in artiste selection and also this would give local artists the platform for their music to be taken out there both locally and internationally. ENDS
