The annual Miss Supranational will (tomorrow) on Saturday select top 12 from 30 contestants who will stage to showcase their talents and walks.

Thirty contestants will showcase performable talents and take the runway to model fashion outfits from six top designers in Botswana. Pageantry director, Kaone Moremong, said in interview since auditions on January 27 and 28, the models in preparing themselves embarked on a training programme in various talents such as singing, dancing and poetry.

She also said they believe contestants had accumulated enough skills for adjudication to add to their continuous assessment, adding that their talent performance and modeling marks will be tallied to choose top 12 contestants. The grand finale will be held on 6th April 2024 and the winner will walk away with P100 000 and a management contract.

Miss Supranational team has also launched a pageant podcast titled GIVING PAGEANTRY, Moremong said.

She said the podcast that airs every Monday at 7pm on YouTube and Facebook was being hosted by former Miss Supranational contestant Ms Mosa Balesamang.

The podcast features news on pageants around the world, breaking beauty plugs, sponsors, teams, will share behind scenes drama as well as a chance for the audience to get to know contestants. To organisers, Miss Supranational Botswana Top Model & Talent Showcase will be a huge production, with amazing displays by contestants. Ends
