In a heart-warming display of social responsibility, Mike N MsTi Dance Academy organised a magnificent Christmas Ball Charity for orphans and the less privileged children in the community. 

The event, held at Molapo Crossing Mall on December 18, aimed at spreading joy and creating lasting memories for those less fortunate during the holiday season. 

In an interview with BOPA,  co-founder of Mike N MsTi Dance Academy, Ms Tshepiso MsTi Montsho expressed gratitude to those who lent a helping hand in making the event a success.

“Christmas is a time for giving and it is our responsibility to ensure that every child feels loved and cherished during this season,” she said. “I am humbled by the generosity of our community in local businesses who came forward to make this event a reality.”

She pleaded with the community to be involved in donating to the orphans and less privileged as that will make a difference in the lives of these children. 

She said gifting the children with clothing, toiletry and other necessities is one generous act that goes a long way. 

“I was trained in psychosocial support some years back and since my youthful years, I have been involved with orphans and I know how massive the difference of making these generous gestures for the children is,” she added.

 In addition to the festivities, the dance academy also arranged for personalised gifts for each orphan, ensuring that no child left empty handed. 

The presents carefully selected brought smiles and tears of joy to the children’s faces. To make the event even more memorable, various entertainment activities were organised including a traditional dance group that blew people out of their seats with their performances. 

The children participated in a talent show where they danced, ensuring that every moment was filled with wonder and excitement. The Christmas ball charity party serves as a shining example of how individuals can make a positive impact in society, by extending a helping hand to those in need. 

Mike N MsTi has not only brought joy to the lives of the orphans but has also inspired others to contribute towards the betterment of their community.  ENDS
