The Black-Barret Sama Explosion music festival will be hosted at Gakuto, Sekeseke Farm on Saturday.

In an interview, the organizer of the event, Tshepo Goitsemang said the music festival intended to bring entertainment closer to villages for locals to enjoy and appreciate their local artists, and not only hear about them on TV and radio.

“Our other mandate is to help Gakuto Primary School with developments as it has been struggling over the years and to also help the vulnerable children of Gakuto community with stationary, uniforms, toiletry and other needs,” he said.

He further said the intension was for the festival to be held annually and is expected to attract a lot of attention and support, solidifying its position as a catalyst for the growth and recognition of local artists. 

The event is to start at 12 noon of Saturday until the next morning, kick starting with children games and fun activities such as face painting and the adult session will start at 6pm same day.

Vee Mampeezy, Charma girl, Chef Gustos, Captain Dira, DannyBass Crew, Makau, Latty make the lineup. 

Tickets are available at web-tickets and they go for P150 standard ticket and P200 Double ticket, P1000 VIP. ENDS
