Set to showcase a variety of media and produce compelling abstract work pieces, the Inspiring Art exhibition by Kenny Arts held at Game City roof top recently proved a success with 25 works of art on display and up for sale.

The sale of the pieces would contribute 10 per cent from each art piece toward Botswana Council for the Disabled as a contribution to the Disability Arts Fund.

Inspiring Art exhibition, a collaboration between Kenny Arts and Botswana Council for the Disabled, was aimed at raising awareness to the public to invest in people with disabilities.

The man behind the exhibition, Kenny Ketshotseng also a fine artist, displayed expertise in his art pieces, creating a unified composition that effectively communicated his ideas and skill.

Each of the work showcased during the exhibition was somehow inspired by the landscape, plants and animals that symbolised different spaces of Botswana.

The exhibition coincided with a walk that Ketshotseng embarked on recently from Jwaneng to Gaborone, which he said was also a success.

“We received warm reception along the way and people were supportive of our cause to raise awareness for the people with disabilities and efforts to involve them in the creative space,” he said. ENDS
