Why So Group, an events brand by Baanthata ‘Ban T’ Mokgwathi has introduced a new segment, Why So Students Nights’and expanded to South Africa.  The Why So Student Nights is due to premier in South Africa on August 31, and the event will be held every last Thursday of the month.

This is a partnership between Ban T and South Africa’s Tumisang ‘DJ Slim’ Molefe, who is Khuli Chana’s DJ and a renowned creative in the South African showbiz industry.

Why So Students came after realising a lot of support towards the Why So events by Batswana staying and schooling in South Africa, and also Ban T’s legion of fans.

“Our fans in SA needed something as well, and this is how my partnership with DJ Slim came about,” Ban T said.

He noted that the market in South Africa was lucrative looking at the support they have received so far. “Other brands and sponsors are even willing to support because of the amazing concept we deliver,” he said. Ban T said this was  an opportunity for grow and expand beyond  borders.  Meanwhile, the premier event to be held in Melville, Johannesburg, will feature Ban T, TeddyIsNotADJ and from South Africa it will be DJ Slim, Maglera Doe Boy and Magesh and Bearingtings. ENDS
