Botswana’s France based hip hop artiste and model, Boitumelo Ben alias Danielle Swagger has recently released her latest single, titled Wipe ‘ Em Out.
The 29-year-old songstress’s latest offering hit the music waves on June 9.
She said her music was heavily influenced by hip hop culture and also featured a catchy beat composed by pianist and producer Fabio Marouvin.
“My unique style and ability to express my deepest emotions through music are showcased on this single,” she said.
Being sang in three languages English, Setswana, and French sets Wipe them out apart from the rest and is a mixture of reggae tones, hip hop vibes, Motswako, and a touch of soul.
With Wipe ‘Em Out, Swagger is set to make a name for herself in the music industry. The song she said showcased her versatility as an artiste, blending different genres and languages seamlessly.

She said the Wipe ‘Em Out lyrics encouraged listeners to embrace strength as armor and also to view challenges as opportunities for growth, and never give up, even when faced with adversity.

Regarding her love for the music she said her passion for music began at a young age, as she was influenced by artistes such as Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, and Lil Kim.
She said she started writing her own lyrics and experimenting with different musical styles.
Over the years, Swagger had developed her own unique style that blends hip hop, reggae, and soul. Swagger has also made a name for herself as a successful model and has graced the covers of various magazines and walked the runway for top designers.
Her intention is to empower people through her music encouraging them not to give up on their dreams.
She has released several other singles including Badda than you, Chixk the Boss, and No Manners.
“I have performed at various local events such as the Botswana Youth Awards and the Gantsi Show,” she said.
She has also collaborated with other local artistes including ATI, Team Distant, and Mapetla.
“I have been featured in fashion shows, magazines, and online campaigns. I am passionate about promoting African fashion and showcasing the talent and creativity of local designers.”
