Platforms such as Womens’ Etiquette Brunch are an opportunity for women to enhance their strengths and take care of their mental health.
In an interview Motswana Event Concierge, and also Owner of ESTeRES Boutique Agency, Michelle Phetlhe, said the etiquette brunch event scheduled for Saturday, will see women converge at Avani Gaborone Resort & Casino to share empowering messages.
She said Womens’ Etiquette Brunch was committed to offering exciting relatable panelists to deliver thought-provoking, and impactful topics for women to learn and grow from as they shared experiences and personal stories.
“This year marks the fifth installment of the successful event. Its success lies is in attracting a diverse target audience, with guests of all ages, both individual and corporate, some of which attend the event every year,” she said.
As an interactive and engaging platform, Phetlhe said, the brunch had proven to give women a safe space to experience life and personal development from all perspectives.
The event organiser said this year they had spread wings internationally, inviting South African actress, event planner and Diabetes Ambassador Sophie Ndaba who will present on a topic titled Surviving.
She said Ndaba‘s life has had many interesting; testing, and affirming moments, and she had proven to be more resilient and striving to always reach the sky in all she does, hence her invitation.
“Her motivational talks are candid and inspiring,” she said.
Partner and Attorney at Law at DLG will speak to ‘Knowing your Law,’ a discussion aimed at equiping women with tools on how to protect themselves and understand how the law could work to their advantage in different situations.
Phetlhe said the programme would also feature a fertility specialist, Dr Vincent Molelekwa, who will discuss the topic of hormone harmony, adding studies showed that around 30 per cent of fertility problems were prevalent to woman such as irregular ovulation and blockages in the fallopian tubes among others.
“We all have hormones but might not always be aware of what is happening internally or what to do,” she said.
She said Letsha Kgotla, a psychotherapist and wellness coordinator, will speak on the topic; Balance.
She said this discusses the necessity of finding equilibrium in ever demanding lifestyles and the need for mindfulness in order to lead a life where making time for self was a priority which would result in holistic optimum performance.
She said for those who would like to attend the event, tickets were available at ESTERES. ENDS
