Maun night crawlers will have a memorable time as Base Lounge will be presenting Botswana’s award winning Pop musician Patriot Makele alias Lerofo during a gig dubbed A Night with Lerofo on Friday.

Lerofo of Badimo fame, which most fans call Legodimo la mpitsa needs no intro as he is known for dropping hit after hit.

He rose to stardom with his debut single Rod Around in 2015, featuring renowned singer and author Gaone Rantlhoiwe.

The single produced by Prez Beats won Lerofo single of the year award during the BOMU awards.

The artiste then did took a break and made a grand come back in 2020 with Badimo, which became an anthem.

In his 10 years in the music industry the artiste who hails from Otse recently unleashed Forgetful.

The 10-tracked album entails songs such   Phellong, Leru, Pray for Grace, Smile and Dinaledi ft And Spaces among others.

His music is a mixture of genres and varying beats that appeal across ages.

While some describe his music as new Gospel, heavily messaged and souls soothing the songs are danceable, and recently he has been wowing revellers in various events with his tunes.

The 30-year-old goes to Maun while in his top form and its undoubtable that he will make a mark at ko Motjing as Maun is often called.

 He will share stage with DJ Distilled, Skint and VJ Quan.

Last weekend he wowed fans at the Born and Raised activation in Serowe with this track Leru.

Social media was abuzz with his electrifying performance and his recent performances generated so much attention

The musician will have another gig Homecoming Party at 1000 DAYZ night club at Otse on December 27. ENDS
