Limkokwing University of Creative Technology has pledged a P346 000 academic sponsorship to two winners of the eighth Mr and Miss RADP Fashion show.

The fashion show, themed; Unearthing Natural Beauty and Talent, is billed for Limkokwing University of Creative Technology Hall of Fame tomorrow.

Announcing the sponsorship at the Miss RADP and Mr RADP Fashion show launch on Wednesday, Vice Chancellor of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Dr Raphael Dingalo said his institution had allocated P2m worth of sponsorship to the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, under which the pageant falls.

He said the P346 000 prize for the Miss and Mr RADP fashion e nthusiasts would be sourced from the P2 million.

Palms for Life Fund representative, Yvonne Kgwarae indicated that her organisation would contribute P360 000 towards business skills and mentoring for winners.

She said the beneficiaries would be the top three from Miss RADP as well as top three from Mr RADP Fashion Show.

 Kgwarae further said her team would facilitate and monitor the contestants’ projects to ensure that they do not collapse. 

The pageant is a gender empowering initiative targeting youth in remote area communities to identify talent, promote inclusiveness and avail opportunities for youths to participate at national level and showcase their talents. Ends
