The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort will host the second instalment of the Gin Experience on Saturday.

In an interview, Grand Palm marketing manager, Malebogo Bahakgametse, said the event would give patrons an experience of some of the best gin catalogues in the country.

Scheduled to perform at the event are DJs Boogie Sid, Lefatshe, Beklala, and N.S.I among others. The guests, Bahakgametse said, would be treated to light snacks and receive souvenir glasses and tasting coupons. She added that the hotel would offer ticketholders an exclusive show and stay rate at their Metcourt Inn for P399.

Bahakgametse noted that the gin experience event came in the wake of COVID-19, as a celebration to eased lockdown restrictions, adding the event also explored what the gin market had to offer.

She said following last year’s sold out show in Gaborone and with support from distributors, they organised a show for the Francistown market.

“Last year we managed to host a sold-out show in Gaborone and introduced this lifestyle event to our patrons in Francistown. We bring the event back this year with support from Lengau Wine company, Benju Wine and Liquor Distributors, Fine Brands, SMC, Distell and our mixer of choice Schweppes,” stated Bahakgametse.

MorGin, distributed by Fine Brands, is one of the gins that the patrons will have an opportunity to experience. ENDS
