Trace Africa announces Season 2 festival partnership

Trace Africa has announced partnership with Pretty Girls Love Good Music Season 2 festival, which is scheduled for November 27.

“We are excited to announce that Trace is the official television partner for Pretty Girls Love Good Music season 2,” the Trace Southern Africa Instagram handle stated.

Trace is a DSTV music channel broadcasting in over 40 countries.

In an interview, Pretty Girls Love Good Music organiser, Kennedy ‘Xzotic’ Sebina, said the partnership was intended to have long term benefits for the music brand as well as showcasing Botswana showbiz events to the rest of Africa and the world as well as exporting local talent.

“Our local entertainment can now see the importance of producing and shooting quality music videos that could be played on Trace Africa channel,” noted Xzotic, adding the partnership will run every year until both parties decide otherwise.

He said the partnership entailed television adverts on the DSTV music channels worth over P300 000 and social media support as well as airing the show on the television channel after the event.

“The television crew will also arrive in Botswana before the main event to familiarise themselves with the place and set up for recording,” said Xzotic.

Pretty Girls Love Good Music Season 2 will be held at Royal Aria Stadium and staging the best of local and international acts.

Botswana’s talented performers such as William Last KRM, Baxon, Casper the DJ, Frostbite, DJ Bunny, Benny T, Hapex Guru among others will take part.

From South Africa, the show will showcase amapiano’s Focalistic, Amaroto as well as hip hop artists Nasty C and K.O.

Brought by Exzozo Entertainment, the event, that advocates for day events with the intention to include patrons who wish to attend day events, and enjoy their favourite artists, pioneered last year.  ENDS
