Former Miss Botswana joins Muvhango

Former Miss Botswana, Seneo Mabengano joins other Batswana in the South African daily soapie, Muvhango.
Mabengano, who was crowned Miss Botswana queen in 2015, made her first appearance on Wednesday episode aired on South African Broadcasting Channel 2 (SABC).
According to a press statement from Kwathole Conexion, the 26-year-old Mabengano plays Khumo, ‘a character that promises to ruffle some feathers with her stubbornness and pompous persona.’
The Khumo character, according to a press statement, is a go getter determined to achieve her goals by fair or foul means and always gets what she wants.
It further explains that Khumo enters the scene as James Motsamai’s long lost half-sister from his father’s side, and she is the new girl in the city, having lost her billionaire husband.
Muvhango is Mabengano’s first television gig.
A fine artiste as well, Mabengano first auditioned in Gaborone, after a post was put up on social media by the Muvhango casting team.
Following that, she was shortlisted for a second round of auditions in South Africa and chosen for the role.
The Limkokwing University of Creative Arts graduate, Mabengano joins other Batswana cast in Muvhango in the likes of Sharon Seno, who plays Marang, Angela Atlang whose role is Itseng.
Other Batswana who also had their fame in Muvhango include Maxwell Dichi, who played the youthful lawyer, Seretse, as well as Gaosi Raditholo, who played Wawa. ENDS
