Ubuntu Group has organised a networking event dubbed Women Wine & Fashion, slated for October 7 to 8 at Grand Aria Hotel.

Ivy Usada of D3 Technologies Consulting Company and also co-organiser said the event would be decorated by businesswomen who will showcase their wine brands and fashion designs.

“We have 19 local designers who will be showcasing their crafts,” said Usada who added that they invited Nomonde Sindane, a South African designer, for locals to benchmark.

Usada said for wine distributors, Kesego Ragontse, owner of Ipela wines, Just live and Limeview would be there.

Usada said the event was a second series of appreciating, empowering and bringing awareness through the Women Wine & Fashion event.

‘’The event was created three years ago but due to COVID-19 disrupted life, such worked in many women’s favor since they had time to think outside the box,” said Usada.

She said local influencers who would be gracing the event included businesswoman, Charity Baaitse and Muvhango actress, Sharon Seno and female Djs, Laura Rantao, Enezel, Mpho Kgaswane and Nendiyo among others.

Guests will be treated to wine tasting, VIP relaxing and shopping local designs. ENDS
