My Star Season 15 grand finale is geared to end today after reaching Top 3 level.

Speaking in an interview with BOPA, My Star Director, Keabetswe Sesinyi aka Master Dee said as part of celebrating the country’s independence, the finale would be held at Mogoditshane

Senior School after three months of contestants battling to be in the Top 3.

He said Top 3 contestants were Fe’var, Otsile and MJ Austin.

Sesinyi said even though some did not secure enough votes to be in Top 10, their music vocation would still continue as they had been given validation by My Star as well as their fans.

Some, he said, had learnt how to maintain the balance between engaging with the audience and performing.

He however said even though the show had no sponsor, they were hoping that someone would come to their rescue and assist with P100 000 for the winner.

“The Show has no sponsor and we have knocked on most of the doors to no avail.” ENDS
