The Top 10 Miss Botswana Top 10 finalists were announced on Thursday at Riverwalk Mall’s Capitol Cinema.

They are Alipo Makosha, Lesego Sejai, Chese Tsayang, Lesego Chombo, Sebaga Manyapetsa, Goitsemodimo Sejai, Tshepo Nthaga, Lorato Kgangyapelo, Gontlafetse Oagile and Cynthia Kalayakgosi.

Miss Botswana director, Benjamin Raletsatsi congratulated the beauty queens and stated that the five who did not make the cut would be offered scholarships to study Entrepreneurship at Boitekanelo College, as a token of appreciation and for their own personal development.

Raletsatsi said Miss Botswana desired to make a difference and help boost the economy, noting that the pageantry remained a marketing and value chain tool.

He also said the finalists were being empowered and in the process, gaining knowledge to better their lives.

Miss Botswana grand finale is scheduled for October 22 at the Fairscape Precinct in Gaborone. Ends
