Joyous Celebration show billed for October

Organisers of the Life Changing concert have added a twist to this year’s show by featuring three local artists who will collaborate with the event headliner South Africa’s MTN Joyous Celebration choir.
The gospel concert is slated for the University of Botswana Indoor Sports Arena on October 29.Addressing the media in Gaborone on Tuesday, founder of Brave Hearts and also host Joseph Manuel said the three, Motheo Rabasha, Tshenolo Mosimane and Kay Mokaleng would get to collaborate with MTN Joyous Celebration choir during the concert as a way of recognising local talent.
He said they were expecting close to 6 000 people to attend the event and noted that 50 per cent of the tickets had already been sold. Manuel said the show which was the fifth edition gave everyone the opportunity to see the gospel group performing live their new renditions.
He pleaded with Batswana to continue buying tickets early to avoid disappointments.
Sefako Mamabolo, a member of Joyous Celebration who was accompanied by other members of the choir expressed gratitude for the warm reception they received ever since they started shows in Botswana.
He pointed out that Joyous Celebration was passionate about grooming upcoming artists.
Sefako promised attendants a powerful life changing night that would also impact communities and young people. ENDS
