Danko hit-maker Esere Diloro alias Ezra Neethings, will host a charity Live Music Concert on October 7 at Molapo Piazza.

Speaking in a media conference on Wednesday, hosted at Molapo Piazza, the renowned music icon said his song Danko, released in March, had reached more than six million streams on digital platforms.

“The concert will serve as a compliment to the song and I will be hosting the live concert with other local and international artistes,” said the music star.

The ECG Praise and Worship leader from Selebi Phikwe, whose songs have blessed lives, said he had been doing music since 2015 and had more than three albums to his name before his new and chart topping debut album Danko.

The 23-year-old sensational musician said since its release Danko had reached all corners of the world and happily announced that it had changed his life and earned him many international recognitions in Africa and Europe.

Music promoter, Gilbert Seagile of Gilbert Promotions said the event was merely to give back to the Kingdom of God through different churches that would partner with them.

He said churches would be given tickets to sell, and earn themselves P50 out of each P200- ticket sale.

Seagile, therefore, appealed to churches who wanted to partner with them to come forth and register.

The promoter said as the music industry they had realised how churches were in need even though they formed an integral part of the society, especially in molding people.

Seagile said they would not only use the concert to win souls, but also to pray for Botswana.

“Churches host fundraising events, but it is not enough, therefore, by listing with us it would help them achieve their goals.”

He said patrons should expect artistes of note who, without doubt, would bring a captivating music show.

He said they would be hosting activations with the Danko Star at different places to help churches who had partnered with them to sell tickets.

Gospel ministers, Prophet Joel Keitumele aka Ntsoro said the initiative was a seed that all churches involved would appreciate.

Keitumele said the music promoters and musicians were using their God-given talent to bless His ministries.

He also confirmed that most of the churches did not own land, therefore the charity initiative would help them to grow their churches.

Ntsoro also said as the church they would be transparent on how they used the money. ENDS
