Plans are afoot for the first ever Kumnamdi Ekhaya musik Festival, to pay homage to Thamaga.

Speaking during a media conference on Tuesday, the brains behind the event, DJ Lefika Kebatlege aka DJ Ngwazi, said the event slated for the Independence holidays, will feature both local and South African artists

DJ Ngwazi, who is signed under popular music artist Master KG’s record label Wanita Moss, said the inaugural festival will take place at Legola Farm and be graced by the likes of Franco, Makhadzi, Master KG and Prince Benza, among others

He said the local line-up would also include Vee Mampeezy, Amantle Brown, and Dr Vom, among other artists, adding “we will also have musicians from Thamaga, Moshupa, Kanye and Molepolole as part of the line-up”.

 

He also invited partners of the event, all night Security Company, Prydo twisters for sound system and Say Say entertainment for events service. ENDS
