Benedict Mabe, otherwise known as DJ BennyT, has hailed his collaboration with South Africa’s Dj Enoo Napa.

The DJs met recently at the GIMC Afro Tech festival following their collaboration conversations on social media.

 “I believe that this partnership will work for both of us as we will an insight of each other’s music industry,” said BennyT, adding he would also have the best producer in South Africa.

BennyT said GIMC Afro Tech festival was a perfect platform to meet Enoo Napa so they discuss their working relations further.

He said they would work on two track extended play record (EP).

One track would possibly have vocals whilst the other song will be a house club instrumental tune.

BennyT said the project would be a foundationfor more collaborations.

 “We want South Africa acts to collaborate more with Batswana artistes and DJs to help bridge that gap between styles and genres and crossover to new fan base,” said BennyT.

Benny T has collaborated with Jackie Queens from South Africa on The Reason project which scooped the 2019 Yarona Fm Best Dance Single award.

He has also worked with other artistes beyond South Africa, remixing for artistes in the US and UK.

“Currently I have a line-up of collaborations with the likes of Cairo and Da Capo both from South Africa,” said BennyT adding that this is a year of greatness in music collaborations for the local industry.

Back home, BennyT said he always tried to experiment with different genres outside his house music genre by infusing the sounds.

He said at the moment he was working on remixing a traditional setapa song into a modern house tune.  Ends
