 In its quest to promote and celebrate Botswana music industry, Staywell Gardens will present an all local artistes for their Friends of Staywell Appreciation party billed for Saturday.

The mouth-watering all-star event’s line-up has pitted the local industry’s finest entertainers such as the peoples favourite A.T.I, Charma Gal, Khoisan, Dr Vom, FME Djs, Ancestral Rituals, Sbojo and Djs such as Dj Kuchi, Chrispin The Drummer, Hapex Guru and many others.

Staywell Gardens’ General Manager, Neo Ntlole said that the appreciation party was aimed at actively promoting arts and culture. She said entertainment industry was among those gravely affected by COVID-19 pandemic, therefore the all-star local music show strived to revive the music sector. Ntlole also noted that the festival would prove to patrons that Botswana artistes were equally crowd pullers as their foreign counterparts.

Small scale entrepreneurs would also showcase their products for free, with exception of beverages and food stalls. Ntlole said the idea was to have the event twice in a year, with expectation to host another event in September to celebrate Independence Day.

Tickets are sold at P100 single, P180 double and P120 at the gate. Part of  the proceeds, Ntlole said would be donated to an identified Non-Governmental Organisation. Staywell Gardens has partnered  with DC Tours for transportation of patrons to the venue, as a way of safety measures for patrons.

She also said free camping space will be provided for patrons at the garden. ENDS
