Bakgatla will tomorrow embark on a 4-km walk from old Mochudi Spar to Kgabo Mall to hype votes in support of Kgatleng native, Ms Botswana queen, Palesa Molefe who is currently competing for Miss World peagent in Puerto Rico.

In an interview, Chief Executive Officer of SaleswiphBokang, Bokang Basejane said the initiative was meant to encourage Batswana to vote for Palesa so that she continues dominating in the Miss World competition.

He said Palesa continued to be visible and attracted attention of international media and ‘adjudicators’ with her prowess and agility to answer questions confidently and that the uniqueness of her activities was immaculate.

He said when Batswana stand together anything was possible. “This could be the chance to open doors for us to be known. When she wins Botswana will be on the world map again and we will be known.”

Bokang stated that Palesa’s win would be everyone’s win as the win would come along with trickled-down effects in tourism, products and diamonds among others.ENDS
