Local songstress Katlego Ntirang alias Dato Seiko stole the show during the Fired Up with DJ Zinhle event with her rendition of DJ Zinhle’s song Umlilo at Avani Resort and Casino on Saturday.

With her belief that the universe is conspiring with her, the youngster left the main guest South African Dj Zinhle in tears and in awe of her powerful vocal chords.

Dato Seiko, Mapetla’s sister seems to be following her brother’s footsteps or even threatening to surpass Skhokho’s mark in the music scene.  

Local DJs did not disappoint on the turntables as they set the tone for night.

As usual Dj Boogie Sid and DJ Shimrock had partygoers eating from their palms with their electrifying mixes.

Music enthusiasts who patronised the event certainly got their money’s worth given the lifestyle event’s ambiance, which validated the organiser’s promise of providing guests with a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

“We aimed to create a world class experience for guests to enjoy and as well as be the number one sport for lifestyle experiences,” said Avani Marketing executive, Thapelo Mmono

She said their overall goal was to create a lifestyle event that would showcase the best of local hospitality and entertainment, indicated by the good food, drinks matched by the beautiful crowd.  

In an interview, Dj Zinhle said she was extremely grateful for the warm response and support she had received from Batswana over the years.

“My journey as a female Dj and entrepreneur has been made easier by Batswana and that is something I will never take for granted,” she said.

Dj Zinhle, who also has areality show, gave out some nuggets of wisdom to the attendees.

She highlighted the importance of preserving one’s mental health especially during the current dire times of COVID-19 and advised guests to be especially careful  of what they exposed their minds to.

Staying true to the theme of the evening, guests wore their finest attires, and some truly demonstrated that they respected events themes, as they sang and danced the night away to Dj Zinhle’s performance, closing off a spectacular show. ENDS
