Cross and Hurricane drops an afro-beat album

Local upcoming artistes Karabo Pheage alias Cross and Onalethata Seoromeng aka Hurricane’s four-tracked Afro-beat album infused with Motswako will hit shelves end of November.
The album has tracks Moroki, For the love, Sebata and Miracles.
It was produced by Cross from his home studio.
The track Moroki is about a voluptuous man who charms women by his macho and that not he has the potential to satisfy them.
Cross mastered and mixed the track Moroki from his home studio.
Despite discovering his talent during his school days at Pitikwe Junior Secondary School in Lobatse, for Cross, a nurse by profession music was just passion and never viewed it as something that he could make money out of.
The pre-used computer his mother bought him played the magic in nurturing his talent.
Together with his brother they learnt singing through YouTube tutorials and the day he connected the mike the artiste in him was awaken.
His passion was actualised when he met Hurricane who pushed and advised him to record, to take his music to another level.
Hurricane a police officer revealed that he met Cross when he got transferred to Letlhakane,. He said Cross did not know he could sing until he listened to his solo track dubbed Ba kae majita.
Thereafter the two went to the studio to record the track, For the love driven by hunger, thirst and passion for the mike, having been out of practice for some time.
For the love is a hip hop motswako beat promoting love, urging couples to be cognizant that love joined them despite their differences.
The song gives love hope that united they will prevail over challenges.
It also encourages couples to marry for the purpose of love not for material benefit.
Hurricane discovered the star in him during talent shows at Matshekge Senior Secondary School.
He formed a group called Massive Cyclones.
The group later disbanded as the group members took different paths in life.
He did not abandon his dream as he went on to record solo tracks such as Ba kae majita which was a self-poetic song.
Then Sebatana, which is about a naughty child who troubles his mother by coming home late.The duo produced t went on to produce Miracles which encourages people to focus on what they aspire to do in life, and should never be demoralised by their detractors.
The two recently had music enthusiasts eating from the palms of their hand during the recent all-white party that was staged at Letlhakane alongside Motlha of Mmamotse fame and Deejay Mod of MMP family amongst others.
It is undeniable that the two were destined for greater things, evidenced by always being fully booked for events in Letlhakane.
The duo who plays music as their side hustle self-financed their compilation, and they have their own turntablist DJ Lesley. BOPA
