Gospel enthusiasts thronged Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) on Saturday to witness the live recording of Tehillah Royal Music (TRM) group’s 11-track  album.

The debut album titled Capacity Volume 1 consists of praise and worship songs that include, Capacity, The name, Spirit being, Kgosi, Mothodi, My Sunshine, O montle, Prayer-  at the mention-of –His  name, Royal worship and Royal praise among others.

The 18-member youthful group played different roles in the album and are all members of Royal Ministries International Church in Gaborone.

The TRM group does not only preach the gospel but is changing people’s lives through music.

It was evidently a night of worship, dance, pure fun, and possibly a moment of restoration of their hopes and dreams thwarted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The performance was all fireworks and it kept revellers captivated.

Throughout the show, the spectators expressed satisfaction of the performance that was divided into two sessions with the first one being all about praise and worship while the second,  being rhumba beats, also did not disappoint.

The show reached climax when they sang At the mention-of -His name, a track that left the audience  begging for encore.

The song basically encouraged people to open up their hearts and express gratitude to God despite challenges encountered. It also speaks of resilience and love.

The instruments complemented the electrifying performance by the group. Just after the praise and worship performance, the audience were also treated to a pre-recorded single video by the group dubbed Spirit to keep them engaged for a smooth transition to the second session that entailed gospel tracks in Rhumba beats.

Giving welcome remarks,  Royal Assembly Ministries International Senior Pastor, Boago Ramogapi expressed that the recording session came at the right time to administer healing, help revive back people’s dreams that were mostly lost and deterred due to the pandemic.

“Although the pandemic has left a trail of misery such as loss of jobs and lives among others, we still have more to celebrate and praise God for He preserved us this far.,” he said. ENDS
