Maxy Khoisan drops Makoti 10 cent

Maxy Sedumedi popularly known as Maxy Khoisan celebrated her 42nd birthday in style treating her fans to a new offering dubbed Makoti 10 cent.  

The prolific songstress, who has stood the test of time celebrated her birthday on November 4.  

Showing her versatility, Maxy  deviated from her usual traditional and Afro pop genres to release an Afro dance music album. 

The five-track Makoti 10 cent album features songs such as Mpulele Heke, Motho Wame, Makoti 10 cent, Ipasope and Setlhabelo Saaka

The album is a must listen to and with its rich Setswana lyrics and rhythm, there is no doubt about it appealing to the masses.

In an interview Maxy revealed that the lead song Makoti 10 cent tips married women to honour their husbands and give them conjugal rights. 

It also advises them not to demand paychecks from husbands.

However, the song advises, husbands should freely give women the paycheck to enable them to perform household duties as wives.

When listening to the songs one can tell that most of them addresses what people go through on a daily basis. 

Mpulele heke is a love song of someone crushing on another and asking them to open their heart to their love. 

Motho wame is about a couple in love and expressing their love. 

This one is danceable than other tracks in the album. 

As for Ipasope, it cautions people to be careful of their surroundings and people around them.

Setlhabelo Saaka is Mma Gauta’s thanksgiving piece, extending gratitude to the Creator for everything that He has done for her and for adding yet another year to her life.

This album danceable beat is likely to be among the most played this festive season. 

Maxy has done most genres, from traditional music, pop, to gospel. The album is suitable for adults and young people who want to learn more about love and marriage.
