Adashe Garden Resort in Thamaga will be the place to be as the host kitchen for the much anticipated Foodhub Sunday.

The Sunday gig is expected to be bigger and better given the organisers experience in the previous event.

The weekend event will not only be giving attendees an opportunity to enjoy local street culinary but will also afford local entertainers such as disc jockeys and upcoming artistes, a platform to unleash  potential.

DJ KSB of the Phendula fame will headline the lineup, and expected to add some flair to the laid back event.  

In addition, there will be stalls for various providers ranging from beauty to crafts stalls among others.  

In an interview on Tuesday the event organizer Thuso Mohurutshe said the event aimed to grow the Foodhub brand as well as the entertainment scene particularly in the Southern region.

He said they planned to make it a monthly gig due to the demand by patrons but possibly alternate venues as it attracted patrons outside Thamaga.

Foodhub opened its doors in 2020 as a mobile kitchen in Gaborone’s Central Business Development (CBD), and later transformed and moved to Gaborone West, to a vibrant casual street eatery with flavorsome burgers, fries, chicken, beef, ribs and kasi Kota in their menu.

The organizers first hosted Foodhub Sunday in 2020 just after the first lockdown. ENDS
