Frequent power outages almost ruined the Sunday Ultimate chill event at Arimax Park in Oodi on Sunday.

Fans who had thronged the venue to see South African Amapiano DJ and record producer Tumelo Manyoni aka Mr JazziQ in action in the flesh had to contend with the inconvenience until the technical crew contained the situation.

The Woza hit maker did not disappoint, leaving the audience thrilled and excited, with his two-hour set, which he delivered impressively.

Sunday Ultimate Chill crowd together with some local disc jockeys and artists also honoured departed entertainment industry souls.

As per, the theme of the event, ‘Monochrome; Black and white’; black and white balloons were released into the air, whilst local Djs paid homage to Dramaboi Wa Makeishane and Sasa Klaas by playing their musical pieces.

Hip hop artist Scar also gave the crowd a little bit of his magic, despite not being on the line-up.

He used his short stint on stage to remind his fans that he is still the best in his game.

The show also attracted small entrepreneurs, who provided food and beverage services, to the audience. ENDS
