Online shopping has become the preferred shopping method since the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and gospel artiste, Lucky Sephiri alias Action has jumped on the bandwagon.
Sephiri reckons that with COVID-19, there is no better way of selling music than doing it online and has encouraged customers to embrace it.
He shared with BOPA that he had to postpone the release of his six-track album, Ke a mo rata, to finalise the logistics of selling his products online.
Ke a mo rata, expected to be released end of May, features the title track and others as, Go lefifi, Nfodise, Re motlhotse and Thato ke tla etsa ya hao.
It will be available on Bema Online Music Shop.
Sephiri said the entertainment industry had greatly suffered due to COVID -19 and that had impacted on their income hence many were forced to come up with ways to bring the industry back to life again.
He said with movement restrictions and large crowds forbidden under COVID-19 health protocols, the industry had to find ways of making money and making products available to consumers.
He appreciated Thabo Kgaswane of Twister Entertainment for helping him record his album for free because he realised how difficult life had become for artistes. The g-ospel singer said the current situation had made it clear that social media was the one platform to advertise and avail their work to local and international customers. ENDS
