Thirty-seven-year-old Kebadiretse Belemo of Dinokwane ward in Serowe has released a nine- track gospel album titled, To God.

In an interview, Belemo. who goes by the name Masa in the music circles, said the album was recorded and produced in February and released in March this year at BennyHotkeys music studios in Palapye.

Though, he released his second album this year, Belemo has been in the music industry for some time.

His first album was released in 2008 titled He lifted Me Up and he has performed in South Africa and other countries.

Other songs in the album worth listening to include Ke tla dula, Sefapano, Lorato, Wena Jeso and Eloi.

Belemo said he regarded gospel music as therapy that consoled him when things were not going well. Moreover, he said it was a genre that could be played under and any given circumstances.

“I have always been engaged in music at church and other different social gatherings,” he said.

He said since the world was now battling with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, he felt the need to administer prayer through music so as to soothe troubled minds.

Although he could not engage in any performance due to COVID-19 challenges, he was hopeful that advertising through social media and word of mouth would help to bring in the desired momentum.

He was glad that the album had been received well in local radio stations such as RB1 and Duma FM.

The CDs can be found at Bible Life Ministries Churches, the church he attends. They are also available at Mahalapye and Serowe. ENDS
