The award winning gospel artiste, Kabelo Eric says his 2018 trip to Rwanda presented him with opportunities to network with renown artistes that can help advance his career.

He said the tour, which was meant to promote his music in Rwanda, took him to the country’s radio and television stations where he met Eric Mashukano, who is the manager of popular award winning gospel artiste, Serge Iyamuremwe.

I have always wanted to meet Iyamuremwe particularly that I spotted his good performing at the Christmas carol session at the Kigali Convention Centre, said Eric in an interview recently.

He said he was fascinated by his voice and the flow of the lyrics in his songs and felt collaborating with the artiste would take him to another level in terms of exposure in East Africa.

Eric said through their collaboration, they first produced a single track titled You are good and later recorded a video under the same title.

The song, he explained was later translated in Setswana, Swahili and Zulu to cater for a diverse audience.

The video was recorded and produced at Sinta Film Production in Rwanda and is available on YouTube under the link http://youtube/VNRmWNOOpng, noted Eric.

He said the video was intended to express gratitude to the Lord for sustaining them throughout the challenges they were faced with on a daily basis.  

Eric is one of the local gospel artistes, who have done well ever since he ventured into the music industry. He won numerous awards locally and internationally and he works on voluntary basis on a number of organisations such as Cancer Awareness Association, First Care Home for the elders, among others. ENDS
