The envisaged inaugural Gabs July initially billed for July this year has been postponed to July next year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A press release from the organisers states that restricting social gatherings and enforcing social distancing to contain the virus had an impact on the sport entertainment.

The organisers state that they recognize the need to comply with these health protocols.

“As a sport entertainment, we care about the well-being and safety of our patrons is a top priority.”

In addition, the organizer’s thank all their partners and patrons in their journey thus far and appreciate the work of all the front liners in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

“At Gabs July we believe that there are better days to come because we are committed to playing our part to contain and stop the spread of the virus.

 Let’s continue to fight the spread of COVID-19, wash hands with soap and water, sanitise, keep a safe distance and wear mask.” ENDS
