Morwaeng joined many other Batswana who have paid tribute to the fallen radio personality and icon known to many of his fans as Thuzoski. He said Letlhoma was such an icon who took radio waves by storm adding that the role he played in entertaining and keeping the nation informed would forever be cherished.
Morwaeng said it was heartwarming when ‘one of your own was doing such exceptional work for the nation and Bakwena took pride in him for he put Molepolole on the map’.
He further emphasised that his wonderful deeds would always be remembered and thanked the family for having allowed their son to serve the nation.
Brother and also caretaker to Thusoski, Kabelo Letlhoma thanked President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi, government and colleagues and friends for their continued support since his brother’s demise.
He said because of COVID-19 regulations, many of his fans and friends would not be able to bid him farewell because of limited numbers of people allowed at funerals.
Therefore, he stated that the family had asked that only close family members bury him in a private ceremony.
Meanwhile, a memorial service for Thuzoski will be held today at Mass Media Complex and will be live streamed in all official online platforms and other media.
